A Tattoo Removal Program for the Adults and Youth of Napa County
Thank you to our sponsors Napa County Criminal Justice Agencies and Dr. William McClure - Napa Valley Plastic Surgery
Napa County Criminal Justice agencies are offering tattoo removal for the youth and adults of our community.
Project goals: to give people a new start, to increase opportunity for employment, to encourage youth to stay in school, to decrease incidents of violence by removing gang tattoos.
Program Participation Includes:
No new tattoos.
Teens should be acquiring their high school diploma.
Clients should be alcohol, drug and gang free.
All probation clients are welcome.
Health and Human Services treatment program clients and Napa County non-profit agencies referrals are also welcome.
No cost for tattoo removal on visible areas i.e. face, neck, hands, arms and feet.
Tattoos are removed through a laser process that breaks up the pigment of the tattoo and causes it to fade over the course of multiple treatments. This process may take several treatments depending on the size, quality and colors of the tattoo.
Participants are asked to arrive between 7:30am and 8am.
First session includes filling out forms: Consent for Treatment, Program Application and Health History.
Applicants under the age of 18 years must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian (first session only for program forms).
A sign in sheet will be made available and participants are taken in for treatment on a first come first serve basis.
Sessions are held once a month and are conducted at Napa County Adult Probation, 1125 Third Street, 2nd Floor, Napa, CA 94559.
Laser sessions are performed by Board Certified Plastic Surgeons.
